Sacoto Studio is led by me, Carolina Borges Sacoto — a designer and brand strategist based in Lisbon, working with organisations around the world.
I specialise in brand identity and visual communication for NGOs, activist collectives, cultural organisations, and mission-driven businesses. The common thread across my work is a belief that organisations fighting for social and environmental change deserve design that's as bold, clear, and strategic as the work they do.
My approach is concept-driven and research-based — I start by understanding the problem before I touch the visuals. That means asking hard questions about positioning, audience, and message before we talk about colour or type.
For projects that need it, I collaborate with other creatives and specialists. The work always has one point of contact and one consistent vision — mine — with the flexibility to bring in the right people when the project calls for it.
